I don't miss the Presidency - Muhammadu Buhari

In a reflection on his past tenure, the erstwhile President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, candidly expressed a lack of nostalgia for his presidential days. Anticipating the transition of power, Buhari emphatically stated that he would not yearn for his presidency, acknowledging that his personal best fell short of the expectations of the Nigerian populace.

"I ardently believe in giving my utmost effort, but regrettably, even my best endeavors seem insufficient. The question of whether I'll feel a void is perplexing. It seems as though I'm constantly under scrutiny," he mused.

In a promotional snippet for an NTA interview, disseminated through its X platform (formerly Twitter) on the evening of Sunday, November 19, Buhari echoed his earlier sentiments.

"Miss? The notion of missing is foreign to me," Buhari declared in response to an inquiry about what aspects of his presidential tenure he might yearn for.
